With its high blowing power and significantly reduced sound pressure level of 90 dB(A), the powerful STIHL BR 500 backpack gas blower is particularly well suited for professionals working on areas in noise-sensitive environmentssuch as municipal facilities or those working in yard and landscape maintenance. The gas leaf blower helps you clear and dispose of leaves. The STIHL 4-MIX® enginefeatures additional integrated sound dampers on the engine, in the blower and on the blower tube, significantly reducing noise levels. The single-hand multi-function handle on the blower tube allows you to operate all the engine control functions for the STIHL BR 500 backpack gas leaf blower easily and safely. The locking throttle lever with stop button also makes it possible for you to stop the backpack gas blower at the push of a button. You can lock the throttle lever at any desired power level while you work. The standard round nozzle can be replaced with an optional curved flat nozzle for working on large areas.
Thanks to the extra-wide shoulder straps and breathable back rest padding of the convenient carrying system, you can carry the BR 500 backpack leaf blower on your back for comfort even during longer periods of use. While you work with the gas blower, the STIHL anti-vibration system reduces engine vibrations and protects your muscles and joints. The optional STIHL ADVANCE chest strap and the optional STIHL hip belt ensure a secure hold as you work and also increase the carrying comfort of the STIHL BR 500 backpack gas leaf blower. By adding a retrofittable STIHL bike handle, you can also more evenly distribute any recoil forces that arise between both arms.
